Here at the Philadelphia Flower Show it’s all about the Flowers! Part II

The great thing about the Philly Flower Show is simply the diversity of the flowers.  As we saw yesterday, there are the prize winners of every type, shape, size and color…

I ran across this Lady Beatrix Iris and agreed!  It does deserve first place for this type of Iris!

There are also thousands of flowers for sale!

And you bet I have Peony’s Envy!  I had to tear myself away from this booth and I am not even fortunate enough to have a garden.  But one day I will and it will have Peony’s everywhere!

I actually threw my hands in the air when I saw my very first David Austin Rose booth.  How do I know who David Austin is?  I was at the Lewis Binter Botanical Garden and came upon the most beautiful rose I’d ever seen.  I looked for it’s name and found it was created by David Austin.  When I looked up his web site I found he created an endless variety of stunning roses.  All were perfect.  He is my favorite rose man in the world.  I will have one of his rose bushes one day as well.

There were also numerous booths selling a dozen roses for under $5.00!  You simply can’t beat that!

As usual, this is just another taste of what awaits at this year’s Philadelphia Flower Show!  It’s on through the weekend.  Bring your camera, bring your wallet and bring a friend!

I’ll be continuing to bring more features each day the show is on!  This may even require some of next week!  Honestly it’s great.  If you get a chance to head up there I can’t recommend it enough.

‘Til Tomorrow…

Britt : )

Thanks Sunny! The Camera was handheld and the lighting was terrible so I had to do what I could. But I do love that Orchid! I love your feature on Labyrinths today! What a fantatic idea. I hope your weather isn't too cold. Were waiting for our first warm up this weekend in months! With that comes garden travel time! I'm very excited :)
