A year long blooming time make these globed-florets a must have in my book.
No matter what stage of growth they are in Egyptian Star-Cluster is endlessly interesting.
What I love best about them is that they live in two worlds. Their florets rise from a globe of velvety green. The blooms themselves arrive with differing times creating a the perfect ambiance for macro photography.
They come in colors from red to a blue-violet and even white.
As blooms go, no matter what angle you photograph them, these are particularly photogenic.
Of course, the best time to capture them is when they fully bloom!
