Lilies
The Lily: by William Blake
The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,
The humble sheep a threat’ning horn:
While the Lily white shall in love delight,
Nor a thorn nor a threat stain her beauty bright.
I photographed these yesterday, just before and during the rain. The perfect light and the sweet smell of rain is too lovely to resist photographing in. One of my favorite moments to be outdoors is just before the rain comes.
