With over 500,000 lights on display, Longwood  has one of the most romantic holiday walks around.  And this doesn’t even include the evening lit dancing fountains.

Walking the vast acreage of lights is wonderful.  Even the grand fountain lawn is lit up.

I love taking this stroll each year.  And it’s become my new tradition.  It’s romantic, crisp and festive.   My fellow wanders are always smiling.  They also have a fantastic little hut where one can buy hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream, cookies or a hot buttery pretzel (my favorite).

And don’t forget to go below the conservatory and head outside.  The view is lovely.

They also tend to have the outdoor trains here!  Yet another fun treat.
